St Benedict’s Library is now fully reopened

19 June 2020

The University of Notre Dame Australia is pleased to announce the reopening of St Benedict’s Library, located on the Broadway Campus in Sydney.

Earlier this year, St Benedict’s Library was closed to make way for a stylish floor-to-ceiling transformation with improved study spaces and resources for students.

Architecturally, the space has been opened up to reveal high ceilings and the building’s historic industrial skeleton. Live plants and foliage have been added and the building has also been fitted with oversized windows, allowing for more natural light. The new space is not only a more welcoming, comfortable and flexible learning environment, it’s a place for collaboration and community.

The library team looks forward to welcoming students and staff to the new St Benedict’s Library, and asks visitors to remember to practice social distancing while using the spaces.
